Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon Filius 2018, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River, Western Australia

"Aromas of fresh redcurrants and blackcurrants, as well as tobacco, cedary oak and abundant spice and leafy herbs. The palate offers a plush and fine-boned feel with red and dark berries, as well as lots of red plums and cherries. Medium-to full-bodied. Drink or hold. Screw cap." 91 Points, James Suckling

Deep ruby. Vibrant, spice-accented red and blue fruit aromas are complemented by suggestions of cigar box and candied flowers. In a juicy, energetic style, showing very good clarity to the bitter cherry and cassis flavors. Turns sweeter with air and finishes long and smooth, with just a hint of fine-grained tannins. 91 Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Nikolaihof Gruner Veltliner Zwickl 2021, 0.75L
Grüner Veltliner from Wachau, Niederösterreich

"The yeastiness of this light yet expressive gruner veltliner neatly underlines the fresh-herb character and balances the zesty acidity. Long, quite creamy finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Unfiltered, so gently shake the bottle before serving to make sure the yeast is well mixed with the wine. Drink now. Screw cap." 91 Points, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

Armand Heitz Volnay 1er Cru Taillepieds 2020, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Volnay, Burgundy

"Equally ripe if perhaps slightly more elegant aromas are comprised by notes of poached plum, dark cherry and a beautiful array of interwoven spice and floral scents. The very rich, even opulent medium weight plus flora possess a caressing mouthfeel if not quite the usual delineation and minerality that this wine typically displays on the youthfully austere and moderately firm finale." 91 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy, with lively acids and a saline finish, it's the most concentrated, textural wine in the range. Drink: 2022-2035." 91 Points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Robert-Denogent Pouilly-Fuissé La Croix Vieilles Vignes 2018, 0.75L

"Once again there is a suggestion of oxidation lurking on the nose of white flowers and notably ripe apricot, peach and pineapple scents. The succulent, powerful and overtly mineral-driven medium weight flavors possess excellent intensity and a lovely texture while displaying fine length on the bitter lemon-inflected finale..." 89-91 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound.com

Serge Dagueneau Pouilly Fumé Les Pentes 2019, 0.75L
Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly Fumé, Loire

"The 2019 Pouilly-Fumé 'les Pentes' from the Dagueneau family is a lovely example of the vintage, offering ripe, pure fruit, good mineral undertow and lovely length on the palate. The bouquet delivers scents of sweet grapefruit, fresh lime, newly-mown grass, flinty minerality and a gently floral topnote. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a lovely core, sound acids and fine balance on the long, succulent and zesty finish. This does not have quite the cut one would expect in a racier vintage and hence, will probably age fairly briskly, but it will deliver tons of pleasure over the coming half dozen years. 2021-2027." 91 Points, John Gilman, View From The Cellar

Pale orange. Expressive, spice-tinged red berry, blood orange and pit aromas are accompanied by building mineral and floral nuances. Tout and energetic on the palate, offering intense strawberry, orange zest and lavender flavors that are braced by a spine of chalky minerality. Finishes very long and precise, with repeating red fruit and floral notes and firm, minerally tension.  91 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous

"Bright purple. Pungent dark berry, cherry, olive and licorice scents are sharpened by peppery spice and mineral flourishes. Appealingly sweet blueberry, cassis and violet pastille flavors slowly deepen in the glass and pick up a smoky accent on the back half. Finishes smooth and long, displaying gentle sweetness, rounded tannins and a persistent floral note." 91 Points Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Dautel Spätburgunder 2018, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Württemberg, Württemberg

"The 2018 Spätburgunder trocken displays a dark cherry color and opens with a pure and refreshing, yet still reductive bouquet of blackcurrant, cherries, cassis, underwood, toast and iodine. Bottled with 13% alcohol this is a very charming, light-footed and refreshing Pinot with a silky-texture, stimulating acidity and phenolic grip. The wine is fine and intense, always fresh and tight on the finish, representing a great vintage for Pinot Noir—the finish is pure, long and intensely fruity yet without sweetness or any masking oaky, toasty notes. This is simply an impressive Pinot in the entry-level price class. Tasted from AP 31 19 in June 2020." 91 Points Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate

Paolo Bea Montefalco Rosso San Valentino 2014, 0.75L
Sangiovese / Sagrantino / Montepulciano from Montefalco, Umbria

"The 2014 Montefalco Rosso San Valentino is the result of a very difficult vintage for Paolo Bea, though you’d never know it. Here I’m finding an exotic, layered expression, as rosy florals and peppery herbs give way to sweet, crushed strawberries with smoky minerals, hints of soy and rich brown spices. Soft textures effortlessly wash across the senses with feminine weight, displaying pure red and blue fruits, and giving way to a coating of liquid florals and saturating minerals. The finish is long and grippier than expected, yet purity is the name of the game, as pretty berry fruits resonate over a gentle twang of youthful tannin. Giampiero’s vineyards were hit hard by downy mildew in 2014, and all of the fruit he saved went into this year's San Valentino. While it’s not on the same level as recent vintages, it’s still a very special wine that delivers a lot of pleasure, and at only 12.5% alcohol."." 91 Points Eric Guido, Vinous

Grosjean Torrette 2020, 0.75L
Prëmetta from Valle d'Aosta, Valle d'Aosta

"Peppery fresh and perfumed with lavender, crushed wild berries and rose, the 2020 Torrette makes a wild first impression. It’s texturally deep and almost salty in character, with gobs of tart red and black currants under an air of violet inner florals. Residual acids keep the expression lively and mouth watering through the finale as the 2020 finishes with hints of licorice and a dash of sour citrus. Case Paolin Pietra Fine Asolo Superiore Extra Brut NV NV, 0.75L
Glera from Asolo Prosecco, Veneto

"Smoky yet sweet on the nose, the NV Extra Brut Prosecco Superiore Pietra Fine keeps me coming back with a bouquet of dusty dried flowers, cinnamon spice and baked apples. This takes a turn toward the savory and mineral spectrum on the palate. Brilliant acidity adds tremendous energy throughout. The Pietra Fine finishes long with potent citrus and inner florals while leaving the mouth watering for more. Consider me a fan. (Lot# 4721) (Drink between 2022-2026)" 91, Eric Guido, Vinous.com

Alegre Valgañón Rioja Blanco 2020, 0.75L
Viura / Grenache Blanc from Rioja, La Rioja

"The 2020 Rioja Blanco from Alegre Valgañón is composed from its customary blend of ninety percent Viura and ten percent Garnacha Blanco. The wine is bright and youthfully reticent today, but with some coaxing offers up a lovely bouquet of tart pear, lemon, white soil tones, spring flowers and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and impeccably balanced, with a fine core and soil undertow, lovely focus and bounce and a long, nascently complex and very promising finish. This is approachable today, but still very much a puppy and I would tuck it away in the cellar for five or six years and really let it blossom properly! "The 2020 Willamette Valley bottling of chardonnay from Seth Long has turned out beautifully.
