Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore 2022, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Bolgheri Superiore, Tuscany
"One of the few 2022 Tuscan wines where you can really see that this will benefit from a few years in bottle, right now it is, hovering on the edge of something delicious, vibrating over the tannic architecture, feathered, campfire smoke, fennel, blackberry, liquorice and crushed peonies, and the bitter fennel and slate scrape, dense, contrast of textures and flavours like only truly great wines can do, a reflection of skilful construction. A gorgeous wine, slowly stretching out in the palate, 65% new oak for ageing. Harvest began August 9 for the whites, and the reds began August 25 with Masseto, and then a few days later for Ornellaia, one of the earliest on record, with around 38hl/h yield.” 99, Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux, Mar 2025
"Dark, shimmering ruby violet. Memorable nose, presents itself with lots of juicy fruit, especially cassis and blueberry, with some smoky notes in the background. Fresh and surprisingly juicy on the palate, grippy, very well-integrated tannins, shows good tension, lingers for a very long time, a bottle that you simply love to empty!” 98, Fallstaff, Jan 2025
"Tasted a few months after it was bottled, the Ornellaia 2022 Bolgheri Superiore Ornellaia will be coming to market in March 2025. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. The wine sees 18 months of aging with up to 70% new oak, but the trick, proprietor Lamberto Frescobaldi tells me, is drawing from a large group of coopers with different toast levels and forests. "I don't want to make a wine of any one tonnellerie," he says. The oak element is crucial to the identity of this wine that reveals dark fruit, blackberry, sweet spice and cinnamon. Most of the vines were planted in the 1980s, and the average age of the plants is over 20 years old. Fruit comes from many parcels, including Bellaria, Bellaria Nuova, Bellaria Alta, Pero, Fosso, Vigna Vecchia and Stallina. Indeed, some 80 wines are made before final blending. The 2022 vintage will be remembered for its full-bodied appeal, concentrated fruit and generous oak renderings. Petit Verdot plays a slightly larger role in this vintage and was one of the surprise hits of 2022. It serves to elongate the wine and adds to its length. The wine's abundant fruit weight cedes to elegantly integrated tannins. This vintage will appeal to die-hard Ornellaia enthusiasts.” 97, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025

Bodegas Atalaya Laya 2023, 0.75L
Garnacha Tintorera / Monastrell from Almansa, Castilla La Mancha
“The entry-level 2023 Laya, produced with 70% Garnacha Tintorera and 30% Monastrell from dry-farmed 30-year-old vines on limestone and stony soils fermented in open-top stainless steel vats. It fermented with neutral yeasts and matured for four months in used French oak barrels, where it also underwent malolactic fermentation. It is fruit-driven and easy to drink, juicy, with 14% alcohol, a pH of 3.79 and 5.6 grams of acidity. It has a very dark color and an expressive nose redolent of black olives and tomato vine, notes descriptive of the variety, with a Northern Rhône whiff. It's juicy and round on the palate, with polished tannins. It delivers way above its price point. 160,000 bottles produced, whereas they usually make over 250,000. It was bottled in May 2024.” 90, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jan 2025

Bereche & Fils Vieilles Vignes Brut Reserve (2024 Disg) NV, 0.75L
Champagne Blend from Champagne, Champagne
“The NV Brut Réserve (base 2022) is such a classy wine. This release, based on 2022, is all finesse. Cranberry, mint, white pepper, slate and dried flowers all grace the palate. Stylistically, the Brut Réserve has evolved into a more refined Champagne than what was the norm just a few years ago. The one thing that is evident, though, is a slightly harder texture vis-à-vis the other wines in the range, likely because of aging on crown cap rather than cork. Élevage was done 70% in cask and 30% in tank. Dosage is 6 grams per liter.” 91, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2025

Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont Sec 2023, 0.75L
Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, Loire
“The 2023 Vouvray Sec Le Mont is precise, upright and flinty. It's less immediately charming than the styles we've seen in recent warmer vintages, but it was only tasted three weeks after bottling—this is one to revisit. There's just the right amount of juicy, peachy flesh within this light-bodied yet concentrated wine. It has the potential to charm but does so without showing off. Flinty and tightly sewn together, it has curves in the right places, but you're just going to have to wait for it to take shape.” 95, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, Jul 2024

De Forville Langhe Nebbiolo 2023, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Langhe, Piedmont
“This cuvée is a selection of Nebbiolo from the younger vines of the various “cru” in Barbaresco supplemented by grapes from the neighboring village of Neive. The average age of the vines is 30 years. The wine is fermented in stainless steel for 10 days to 2 weeks and then is refined in large oak barrels for an additional year before being bottled. An astonishing value … as are all of the fine wines from this remarkable estate. We import as much as 9,600 bottles per year of the Langhe Nebbiolo.” Importer Notes

El Enemigo Chardonnay 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Mendoza, Mendoza
“A consistently impressive chardonnay that highlights purity and saline minerality. Salted lemons, sliced apples, seashells and stones drizzled with a touch of oak spice. Full-bodied yet tense and lightly saline on the palate, with bright acidity and a pure, lengthy finish. Nervy and simply delicious.” 96, Zekun Shuai, James Suckling, Apr 2024
“The 2022 Chardonnay hails from Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, with some under velo de flor, this bright green-gold wine reveals aromas of peaches and pears with a hint of cashew and a slightly oaky backdrop. Dry and lean, the palate lingers with a chalky mouthfeel. This is a modern high-altitude Chardonnay.” 94, Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, Oct 2024

“The 2022 Malbec hails from Adrianna Vineyard, contains 10% Cabernet Franc and was fermented entirely whole clusters before maturing for 15 months in foudre, tank and barrel. The bouquet starts with a poised interplay between herbal and floral elements, with a core of black fruits, followed by a rich, fluid and seamless palate. Domaine du Gros 'Noré Bandol Rosé 2024, 0.75L
Mourvèdre Blend from Bandol, Provence
The rosé is made from Grenache and Cinsault, these two grape varieties harvested by hand at the beginning of the harvest season.
After a maceration of a few hours, they will then be blended with the Mourvèdre grape variety. These three associated grape varieties bring a complexity and aromas of white peach, a beautiful roundness and a persistence in the mouth that delights your taste buds.
Winemaker's feeling of wine A fruity wine with notes of peach and apricot, it is endowed with great finesse. Complex palate, a perfect balance between alcohol and acidity, which gives this wine a rosé of great gastronomy.

Brewer Clifton Pinot Noir 2023, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills, California
This bottling is comprised of Pinot Noir from four vineyards within the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. 3D, Machado, Hapgood, and Perilune vineyards all contribute to the wine which exhibits a drive, richness and pedigree expressive of our special growing area coupled with the purity of fruit and firm structure which have been the trademark of Brewer-Clifton.
3D - The primary emphasis of the predominantly sandy 10 acre vineyard is chardonnay, with five clones planted. In addition to chardonnay, there is a smaller field of pinot noir planted to Swan, Pommard and 667 clones.
MACHADO - 15 acre parcel on the Machado family land is located adjacent to Clos Pepe and immediately behind the Kessler-Haak vineyard. The site is marked by a gorgeous rolling terrain with sandy clay loam soils.
HAPGOOD - In slightly richer soil, the vineyard is planted to the Mount Eden selection of chardonnay. The elevated clay loam content results in larger volume and a more dense palate expression. Our most recent installation, planted in 2010, is this small 2 1/2 acre section of pinot noir planted to Merry Edwards clone.
CRAFT
Only neutral barrels are employed. We strive for whole cluster fermentation. We farm with a focus of ripening the stems alongside the fruit, allowing the cluster to be in harmony. Working with the stems allows for wines that are structured, earthy and balanced with our beautiful Sta. Rita Hills fruit.
CELLARING
All of the wines are produced with the intention of aging and cellaring for at least 10 years and can easily be enjoyed after 15 years.

Roederer Estate L'Ermitage Brut 2019, 0.75L
Champagne Blend from Anderson Valley, California
“The 2019 Brut L'Ermitage blends 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir, all estate grown from one growing season, with 3.9% Chardonnay from the 2016 vintage, and a dosage of 6 grams per liter. A complete, well-integrated, medium-bodied sparkling wine with a balance of fruit and savory notes, it offers flecks of oak spice and pastry crust. Textured and creamy in style, it has a lingering brightness on the finish and should age well over the next 10-15 years. Champagne Louis Roederer started planting grapes in the Anderson Valley in 1982, when California sparkling wine wasn’t yet a thing. Over time, this Philo-based outpost and production facility known as Roederer Estate has become entirely estate-grown, now farming 600 acres of organically and biodynamically farmed vines in the area, which estate winemaker Arnaud Weyrich says has higher acidity on average than Champagne. The winery’s signature style is to add oak-aged reserve wines to each year’s cuvée.” 95, Virginie Boone, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2025

Philipponnat Clos de Goisses Extra Brut 2012, 0.75L
Champagne Blend from Champagne, Champagne
“The 2012 Champagne Clos de Goisses is true to character and is the most opulent and decadent expression. It is flush with a generous perfume and liqueur, with ripe apricot brûlée, toasted brioche, raspberry eau de vie, and saline. The palate is round and full, though light on its feet, with kirsch and a chalky texture. Its salinity makes up for the more modest acidity and contributes to a compelling and savory wine.” 97+, Audrey Frick, Jeb Dunnuck, Nov 2022
“The 2012 Extra-Brut Clos des Goisses is a Champagne of extraordinary elegance and finesse. Silky and aromatic, the 2012 impresses with its mid-weight, refined personality. Hints of kirsch, red plum, flowers and chamomile open gently in the glass. Clos des Goisses is often a rich, vinous Champagne, but the 2012 comes across as restrained and understated in all the right ways. Its aging potential will be measured in decades not years. Sadly, severe spring frost took with it a startling 50% of the crop. According to Charles Philipponnat Pinot fared better than Chardonnay. Ultimately, though, the Goisses blend is a typical two-thirds Pinot and one-third Chardonnay. Dosage is 4.5 grams per liter.” 97, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2021
“Fragrant and complex, this combines a full, ripe depth with a chalky, linear tension, its fruit balanced between a primary freshness and developed complexity. It’s generous in build, showing the ripeness of the vintage, yet it still feels closed, needing time to reveal its full potential. This is built for ageing, and it should enjoy a long and slow development. Disgorged: August 2021.” 96, Peter Liem, Decanter, Dec 2023

“The 2012 Rioja “Castillo Ygay” Gran Reserva Especial from Marqués de Murrieta is composed this year from a cépages of eighty-one percent tempranillo and nineteen percent mazuelo, with the vines of both varieties in excess of eighty years of age. Interestingly, the two grape varieties are aged separately for thirty-four months in cask, with the tempranillo aged in American oak barrels and the mazuelo in French oak casks. After the period of cask aging, the two components are blended and aged an additional twenty months in concrete tanks prior to botting, and then an additional three years in bottle in the cellar prior to release! The 2012 Castillo Ygay Gran Reserve Especial comes in at an even fourteen percent octane in this vintage and delivers a stunning aromatic constellation of black raspberries, cassis, Cuban cigar wrapper, a complex base of soil, brown spices, coconutty American oak and a topnote of woodsmoke. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and seamlessly balanced, with a velvety attack, stunning depth of fruit at the core, lovely soil signature and grip, ripe, buried tannins and precise focus on the long, refined and hauntingly beautiful finish. At twelve years of age this brilliant wine is certainly approachable, but it still possesses a serious chassis of tannin and will be an even more stunning wine ten or twenty years down the road. Great juice.” 98, John Gilman, View From The Cellar, Mar 2024
“The 2012 bottling of the Ygay Gran Reserva really ups the savoury character, with the Tempranillo buoyed by 19% Mazuelo, delivering bright fruits and fresh acidity. This is a vintage of true elegance. This wine was bottled in 2019, a blend of 81% Tempranillo aged in American oak and 19% Mazuelo (also known as Carignan) aged in French oak, each for 34 months. The Mazuelo brightens the wine and imbues it with such elegance. The Gran Reserva is sourced entirely from La Plana, located at nearly 500m, and its 80-year-old vines are all dedicated to this iconic bottling. Gorgeous fresh and savoury aromas of dried violet and rose petals, smoky clove and eucalyptus. The palate offers freshness around a core of red fruits. Fresh wild mint, ripe strawberries, notes of balsamic and turned earth are lifted up by a streak of graphite that cuts across the finish.” 97, Clive Pursehouse, Decanter, Jun 2024
“The 2012 Gran Reserva Especial Castillo Ygay is 81% Tempranillo and 19% Mazuelo sourced from La Plana vineyard, planted on the Ygay Estate, Rioja Alta. Aged for 34 months in French and American oak barrels, this wine offers displays a garnet color with a brick sheen. It reveals a complex aroma of bee wax, dried flowers, cassis, sour cherry, cedar and vanilla, with a candied layer. Dry, silky and fairly juicy, the fine-grained tannins and heightened acidity deliver a cleansing, long-lasting finish. This exceptional wine exudes energy and demonstrates proven aging potential, making it one to savor and age gracefully.” 97, Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous, Apr 2024

Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Reserve 2021, 0.75L
Malbec from Valle de Uco, Mendoza
“The 2021 Malbec Reserve from Altos Las Hormigas, sourced from Paraje Altamira and Gualtallary in the Uco Valley, boasts a lean, precise character. Planted in chalky soils, it's a rich purple in the glass. The expressive nose presents enticing blueberry, violet, sage and other herb aromas. It has a compact, focused profile on the palate, with chalky tannins that contribute to the lean texture and a refreshing mouthfeel that highlights the wine's taut structure. The long, nuanced finish allows the wine's spare beauty to really come through.” 93, Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous, Jun 2023
