Review: |
"The 2019 Petit Chablis was cropped at 45hl/ha and aged for 7 months in 30% used barrels and 70% stainless steel. It has far more freshness and precision on the nose than the preceding vintage, light smoky notes emerging with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a rich opening, but unlike the 2018 there is more acidity here, leading to a bright, slightly saline finish. This is worth seeking out." |
