"The NV Extra Brut Garennes 13-21 is a blend of Pinots Noir and Meunier and Chardonnay from 2013 through to 2021 from Chambrecy, Damery, Cumières and Hauvillers. The scented nose gives hints of plum and tart but ripe, red apple with rounded, smooth, creamy oakiness. Frothy mousse expands on a salty, profound body that exudes chalk, tart apple flesh and even more salty sourdough crumb. "I love Benoît and Mélanie Tarlant’s BAM bottling, which takes its name from its cépages of Pinot Blanc, Arbanne and Petit Meslier .... The wine offers up a beautifully complex bouquet of white peach, hazelnut, brioche, a complex base of chalky soil tones, a hint of buttery oak and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and impeccably balanced, with a superb core, very refined mousse, lovely focus and a long, complex finish.
