Lot #449. Continuum 2012

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Packaging: OWC.
Score: 96 RP.
"The success of Continuum, a wine from Pritchard Hill made by Tim Mondavi and his sister Marcia, continues unabated. This is a beautiful vintage for Continuum, with a dense bluish/purple color and a beautiful nose of blueberries, violets, a touch of licorice, truffle and background oak. This full-bodied wine displays beautifully sweet and well-integrated tannin as well as loads of forest floor and spice box. A complex, Bordeaux-styled wine, it is approachable and dramatic, even ostentatious, as many 2012s tend to be, so there’s no harm in drinking it now or cellaring it for another 20+ years." eRobertParker.com #222, Dec 2015
Provenance: The Betulla Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $800
