"Coming from the Steiner Vineyard, the 2019 Syrah Sonoma Mountain is a barrel sample with a deep garnet-purple color. It bursts from the glass with notes of bouquet garni, roasted beef and baked plums with hints of blackberry preserves and potpourri with a waft of garrigue. Full-bodied on the palate with firm, grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, this is delightfully peppery and savory, with a long, layered finish." |
