92+ JG. "The 2016 Poruzots was showing very nicely at the time of my visit, with a bit more mid-palate stuffing than any of the previous wines, as well as sharing a fine sense of reserve with the Tessons. The bouquet offers up a classic blend of apple, pear, a hint of iodine, lovely minerality, almonds and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and focused, with a lovely core, bright, vibrant acids and lovely backend energy on the long, balanced and nascently complex finish."
