"Powerful and structured, as a Napa Cabernet should be, yet crystalline and pure in a way that is quite unique. There is no make-up, no new oak to “sweeten the fruit”. It retains all of its natural lines and angles, giving the wine a sense of architecture, depth and most importantly, a sense of place. Aromatics include blueberry, black currant, bitter chocolate, truffle, high desert shale, graphite finish. Decanting will reward drinking it in its youth, but cellar aging for several years is recommended." |
