"This wine is sourced from the highest elevation vineyard sites. It follows the extensive holistic practices of the entire estate, using no chemical pesticides, fertilizers, etc., and relying upon animal and farm-based viticulture. Detailed, complex and balanced, it's a spelunker's wine, which invites a deep dive into dark recesses, some of which will only be revealed slowly and with further bottle age. Drink through the mid-2030s; for now enjoy the pretty cherry fruit, the agile weave of rock, acidity and earth, and the seemingly endless finish." |
