"The aromatic profile here is just as complex but not quite as ripe with superbly elegant raspberry and cherry notes that display spice and underbrush undertones. The moderately structured and impressively precise medium full flavors are wrapped in a slightly chewy, somewhat firm finish of notable persistence. This will require the better part of a decade to be at its best. A fine effort by any standard but particularly so for the vintage."
