"Do you want your SpÀtlese juicy, sweet and sensual but also, elegant, racy, straight and piquant? The 2013 NiederhÀuser Hermannshöhle Riesling SpÀtlese is a serious wine for you then. It is cool, precise and mineral on the nose but also fruit intense and inviting. The 8.5% alcohol wine starts elegant, sweet and fruit-intense on the palate and develops a mineral tension, straightforwardness and purity that is really remarkable. The finish is pure and salty and reveals an animating grip. This is an excellent SpÀtlese with an aging potential of 20 years, maybe more."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
