"The 2007 Brocard Les Preuses was also aged in an older foudre, and it too is superb in this vintage. The bouquet is a fine and classic mélange of grapefruit, lemon zest, oyster shell, straw, dried flowers, chalky soil tones and a very faint echo of vanilla somewhere up in the very upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, very long and very racy, with beautiful focus, great mid-palate depth and stunning length and grip on the racy and complex finish. A terrific bottle of Les Preuses."
