“A very classical year for Tuscany,' says enologist Matthieu of the 2018 vintage. Still full of aromatic youthful red fruits, cherry, spice and cedar, it is defined by a great balance of fresh acidity and already well integrated tannins. Although this needs more time in bottle, it has great potential. A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, matured in French oak barrels (60% new) for 20 months. (Drink between 2023-2038).” |
