"The 2022 Tavel La Dame Rousse is on the lighter-hued side for Tavel, but it is still a full-bodied, full-flavored effort. A blend of 60% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 10% Clairette, it offers up scents of crushed stone, alpine strawberries, watermelon and a touch of garrigue on the nose, while being pleasantly expansive and rich in the mouth, with a lingering, gently persistent finish." |
