As it usually is, this is less powerful than the Couchereaux but trades power for more elegance, precision and purity of expression. There is always a lovely if understated minerality to a fine Bressandes and so it is here with an attractive stoniness to the long, dusty and almost crisp finish. A very pretty wine of balance and class.
