Even with information as sparse as Riesling 2020 you can be rest-assured of a good wine when it comes from the house of Dönnhoff. It’s their so-called entry estate wine, not quite dry, produced in the style of a light and lively Kabinett with the merest hint of residual sugar. Minerality takes the back seat for once, letting the palate enjoy gentle notes of yellow fruit and a tasteful floral touch, backed by totally refreshing acidity." Michael Schmidt, JancisRobinson.com |
