Broad and chewy on the palate, offering black currant, cherry preserve and bitter chocolate flavors and a touch of licorice. Youthfully chewy tannins lend grip to a long, spicy finish that leaves a sweet dark fruit preserve note behind. Raised in a combination of 85% French and 15% American oak." |
