"The 2019 Dinamica is an 80/20 blend of Bical and Arinto, unoaked (but for 10% in used French oak for four months), very dry and coming in at 11.9% alcohol. For a new and relatively inexpensive bottling, this is a success. It is clearly meant to be more fruit-forward in style and more accessible . . . . this tastes great and it holds up as it airs out and warms a bit. It still has a beautiful acidic backbone supporting the fruit. It should be great this coming summer—light, fruity and bright, a wine you can sip on the porch all by itself. I suspect it will also age a reasonable time, but aging really isn't the point. Let's start here on this overachiever." |
