"The Calcinaires Blanc bottling from Gérard and Lionel Gauby is made from an exotic blend of Macabeu, Vermentino, Chardonnay and Muscat, with the wine fermented and raised in stainless steel. Aromas of tart apple, green olive, salty soil tones, a touch of bay leaf and a note of gently musky floral tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full, crisp and quite dry in style, with a good core. Lovely focus and grip on the long, zesty and acid driven finish." |
