"Savory and soulful, this lithe red opens with earthy aromas of tilled earth, eucalyptus oil, blue flower, game and underbrush. A blend of multiple vintages of wine made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grown on Mount Etna, it offers ripe raspberry, orange-zest, baking-spice, saline, mineral and gamy notes. Smooth, fine-grained tannins provide support. It's a bit funky but loaded with flavor and personality." |
