"Wiener Gemischter Satz (“Viennese Mixed Set”) is a traditional blend of at least 5 grapes. Culled from 3 vineyards. The locations in Neustift are influenced by the cool-thermal character of the “Wienerwald” (Viennese Woods). This in combination with sandstone, a lower lime content and higher amount of clay mixed with rock, leads to a slower ripening of the grapes by two to three weeks (compared to Nussberg). The result is a style of wine offering, among many virtues, an impressive acidity. Stainless steel tanks." |
