Lionel Faury Collines Rhodaniennes L'Art Zélé 2017, 0.75L
Syrah from St. Joseph, Rhône
"Bright purple. Pungent dark berry, cherry, olive and licorice scents are sharpened by peppery spice and mineral flourishes. Appealingly sweet blueberry, cassis and violet pastille flavors slowly deepen in the glass and pick up a smoky accent on the back half. Finishes smooth and long, displaying gentle sweetness, rounded tannins and a persistent floral note." 91 Points Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Figeac 2018, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from St. Emilion, Bordeaux
"This is pretty gorgeous, with velvety texture that lets nearly exotic cassis, plum and blackberry fruit reduction flavors roll through. Has a beautiful bass line of warm earth and smoldering tobacco notes all while keeping its sensational mouthfeel. The encore on the finish makes you realize this is the serious gourmet stuff. One of the highlights of the vintage." 97-100, James Molesworth, Wines Spectator, April 2, 2019

Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Gary`s Vineyard 2014, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands, California
"One of the top examples I was able to taste from this terrific vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2014 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard is a big, rich, concentrated effort that gives up full-bodied notes of savory herbs, scrub brush, black currants and the classic savory, earthy and mineral characteristics that this site is known for. Fermented with 25% whole clusters, it has lots of texture, lots of tannin, and lots of length. It's a smokin' wine . . . . This was another rock star lineup from Kosta Browne and it’s certainly one of the most impressive lineups I tasted all year. And while I generally consider 2013 to be a better vintage than 2014, these 2014s are a step up over last year’s releases, which were no slouches either. The estate continues to use moderate amounts of whole clusters for their reds, and aging occurs in varying amounts of French oak (and recently, some concrete). While these are big, rich wines, they’re in no way over the top and the vast majority have classic, structured and age-worthy profiles. Other producers at this level are few and far between." 95 Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate

Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth NV, 0.375L
Vermouth from Italy, Italy
"This dark, mysterious vermouth is rich, complex and layered, boasting aromas of mint and other herbs, plums and figs, reminiscent of Madeira. The rich flavors are hard to pin down: cocoa, red wine, almonds, bitter marmalade, hints of spice and toffee all play across the palate, finishing with a bracing bitter edge. This delectable sweet vermouth would shine in a Manhattan." 95 Points Wine Enthusiast

Giscours 2015, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Margaux, Bordeaux
“This firm wine shows the tannic side of the vintage. Those tannins are dusty, enriched with black-currant fruits and a dense backdrop. The wine is concentrated and elegant, very ageworthy and not likely to be ready before 2025.” 97, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, Feb 2018
“Plenty of violets and dark berries on offer here. This has a striking sense of purity as well as an energetic, regal palate. The structure is impressively groomed with effortless depth and length. A standout wine.” 96, James Suckling, Jan 2018
"Packed with notes of flowers, sweet, red fruits, tobacco leaf, cherries, and plums, this gorgeous wine is rich, lush, fresh, round, and complex. Yes, it is still a baby. But there is so much going on here, that it is impossible not to finish the bottle with dinner, even at this early stage of development.” 96, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider, Jul 2022

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux 2010, 0.75L
Pinor Noir from Flagey Echezeaux, Burgundy
"Approximately 45+ year old vines from 2 different climats, 90% of which is in Les Poulaillères and the other 10% is in Clos St. Denis. Exuberant and ripe spicy purple fruit also exhibits distinct floral and warm earth nuances that go on to suffuse the rich and finely detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent underlying tension before terminating in a focused, intense and gorgeously long finish. This is pure silk and lace but the really impressive aspect of this wine is just how much depth it has. A sublime knockout . . ." 94, Allen Meadow's, Burghound, Jan 2013

Camille Saves Brut Rosé NV, 0.75L
Chardonnay / Pinot Noir from Bouzy, Champagne
“I have cellared several cases of Camille Savès Brut Rosé over the years and have been extremely happy with the results, and the new release looks to be every bit as excellent as the bottles I have in my cellar. The nose on the current offering is flat out outstanding, as it jumps from the glass in a blaze of blood orange, fraises du bois, chalky minerality, warm biscuits and a topnote of orange peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and laser-like in its focus, with a tightly-knit personality, a great core of fruit, very refined mousse, and superb length and grip on the perfectly balanced finish. This wine has stunning potential, but I would like to see it after it has had a year or two in the cellar to allow its secondary layers of complexity to emerge.” 94, John Gilman, View From The Cellar

Realm Cellars Proprietary Red The Absurd 2014, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Napa Valley, California
"A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, is the 2014 The Absurd, basically a choice of their finest barrels, or as winemaker and owner Benoit Touquette says, “The crème de la crème.” This is another perfect wine equaling their incredible 2013. Yet the 2014 is slightly more forward and showy, as many 2013s are just beginning to shut down. There are 250 cases of this majestic wine that has an opaque purple color, extraordinary nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry, creosote, charcoal, toast and spice. The wine has unbelievable fruit on the attack, midpalate and finish, compelling purity, texture and a finish of close to a full minute. It is (as advertised by the winery) a 'showcase of the best of Napa Valley with the freedom of expression that results from no rules." 100, Robert M. Parker, Jr, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

Fontodi Flaccianello della Pieve 2012, 0.75L
Sangiovese from Colli Toscana Centrale, Tuscany
"The 2012 Flaccianello della Pieve, a selection of the estate's best fruit, presents a darker, more virile expression of Sangiovese. Here, too, the purity of the flavors is truly striking. Cinnamon, cloves, new leather, licorice and plums are some of the notes that soar from the glass. The 2012 is full-bodied and voluptuous, in classic Flaccianello style, but the new French oak is much better integrated than it often is at this stage, the result of a move to lower toast levels over the last few years. This is one of the finest young Flaccianellos I can remember. Simply put, the 2012 Flaccianello is a real stunner. Wow .... Vinous readers know I regard the Sorbo as Fontodi's flagship wine. While the 2012 is truly stratospheric, so is the Flaccianello. Judging by those two wines, it is clear Mother Nature smiled on Fontodi in 2012 ..." 97 Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"Manetti calls 2012 'the vintage of two faces': summer was very hot until mid-August, when some rain brought cooler temperatures which slowed down ripening. In chillier zones than Panzano, Sangiovese struggled to ripen, he says. Even more expressive than when it was initially released, the 2012 has a decidedly exotic manner. Saffron, liquorice and cardamom overlay violets and earth. The tannins are polished with an intriguing chalky texture. It's compact and full but balanced, with a core of vibrant acidity and a long explosive finish. This has the bones to age brilliantly." 97 Michaela Morris, Decanter Magazine

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche 2005, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"The 2005 La Tâche is simply magnificent. There is not too much I can add. Deep, powerful and richly textured, the 2005 simply has it all. Time in the glass releases the aromatics, but it is the wine’s pure sensuality I find most enticing. A host of dark red and blue stone fruits, hard candy and wild flowers take center stage. Even with all of its intensity, the 2005 retains striking freshness and purity. Can it get better than this?" 100, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2016
“A kaleidoscopic and utterly dazzling nose features an array of red and black cherry, cassis, plum and subtle earth notes replete with beguiling Asian spice cabinet aromas and essence of rose petal. The intense, powerful and breathtakingly concentrated flavors possess a taut muscularity before culminating in a palate coating finish of simply huge length. Not surprisingly, this is still structured to the point of being chewy yet it is never rustic or coarse because the gorgeously detailed palate impression is buffered by buckets of dry extract. As readers know, I often use the word Zen to describe the kind of inner harmony of a great vintage of Romanée-Conti but rarely with La Tâche yet in 2005, the LT has this element of inner calm and grace as well. In sum, I remain confident that this huge but utterly classy and stylish wine will go down as one of the all-time great LT's provided that you have the patience to wait as it is going to be a very long distance runner. I should note that two bottles tasted in April 2016 showed some troubling signs of brett; however I had these bottles in China and it's possible that the storage and shipping were not what they should have been though. By contrast, another two bottles tasted in May 2016 were completely clean as were two bottles tastes in 2023 and 2024.” 99, Allen Meadow's, Burghound, Apr 2024

Malescot St. Exupery 2014, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Margaux, Bordeaux
“Dark currants and berries with walnuts on the nose. Follows through to a full body, integrated tannins and a gorgeous finish. Exciting. Wow.” 96, James Suckling, Feb 2017
“I put the 2014 Malescot St-Expuery up with the crème de la crème of this vintage and it offers a wonderfully complete, balanced, concentrated style offers loads of class and personality. With loads of blackcurrant and black cherry fruits intermixed with notions of graphite/lead pencil, spring flowers, and damp earth, it’s medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, layered, and ripe, with sweet tannin and rock-solid underlying acidity. This is a straight up gorgeous, classy, elegant Margaux that’s going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and shine for 15-20 years. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to taste the 2015 for this report.” 93+, Jeb Dunnuck, Nov 2017

Talbot 2016, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from St. Julien, Bordeaux
“Rock 'em, sock 'em St.-Julien, with mouthcoating ganache and tar notes backed by commensurate cassis, blueberry paste and blackberry reduction flavors. The long finish rumbles through, with buried brambly grip providing the support for the dense fruit and toast to meld. Best from 2025 through 2040. 29,833 cases made.” 96, Wine & Spirit Magazine
“There’s a strong team in place at Talbot, with Jean-Michel Laporte (formerly of La Conseillante) as technical director and Stéphane Derenoncourt as consultant. This has a perfumed elegance on the nose, with spicy blackcurrant aromas. Suave and very concentrated, it shows ample ripe tannins and a discreet oaky structure. Its length should guarantee a good future too.” 94, Decanter
“Brought up in 50% new oak, the 2016 Château Talbot is a winner and certainly over-delivers. Powerful notes of crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, lead pencil, and leafy herbs all give way to a silky, seamless Saint-Julien that has remarkable purity of fruit and building, fine tannins. It’s the texture as well as the purity that set this apart, and readers looking for a great value should purchase a case of this beauty." 93, Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2019

Colgin Proprietary Red Cariad 2013, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Petit Verdot from Napa Valley, California
"The 2013 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot, shows great intensity, with a slightly more burning ember and scorched earthiness to it, giving it a more Graves-like character compared to the purity of the Tychson Hill. The wine is full-bodied, rich, layered and possibly slightly more tannic and backward than the Tychson Hill, but that could be because it had recently been bottled. It should evolve over the course of 30+ years." 98 Robert M. Parker, Jr., Wine Advocate

Vega Sicilia Unico 2003, 0.75L
Tempranillo Blend from Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León
“Almost 20 years on from the vintage and this Único is full of life, with perfumed aromas and a fresh, textured palate with well-integrated tannin. It was a famously hot year (though the Vega Sicilia notes only say that the summer was warm), but despite that it has avoided cooked fruit. Full and fleshy with a savoury finish - a surprise, given the year. Mild, frost-free spring, warm summer without rains, then a cold harvest in late September. 25 months in large-capacity wooden vats, 17 months in new barrels, 10 months in semi-new barrels, then 22 months back in large-capacity wooden vats. Aged in bottle then released in 2013. 76,050 bottles, 2,616 magnums, 150 double magnums and six Imperials. Tasted from magnum.” 96, Sarah Jane Evans MW, Decanter, Sep 2022
“Showing some grilled-meat, dried-mint and savory olive notes with balsamic, sour cherries and nutmeg. Polished and velvety on the palate, with a full body and firm, caressing tannins. Rich and delicious combination of ripe fruit, chocolate and savory olive notes throughout, with a fleshy finish. 92% tempranillo and 8% cabernet sauvignon. Tasted from magnum.” 96, James Suckling, Sep 2022
“2003 was the year of the "canicule" in Europe, an extremely warm summer that made Germans acidify their Rieslings and saw Bordeaux with 40 degrees Celsius during Vinexpo. In that context, the 2003 Único showed surprisingly well. It's tannic, serious and austere, a little in the style of 2005. It's mainly Tempranillo with 8% of Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% alcohol with a warm nose and a softer palate, gentler compared with 2005. 2,616 magnums produced.” 94+, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux 2006, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Flagey Echezeaux, Burgundy
"This remains quite reserved yet very classy with a wonderfully airy and layered nose that is distinctly floral while offering up a variety of spice notes, including anise, clove and soy nuances. There is terrific intensity to the pure and sleekly muscled flavors that possess real drive, indeed this does a slow but sure build from the mid-palate on through to the explosively long finish. This is a fascinating wine in that the natural robustness of a fine GE is present but the natural elegance of the vintage tames it somewhat and one could quite accurately describe the '06 GE as robustly elegant yet distinctly understated. Despite the elegance, this will need plenty of cellar time, indeed I have added two years to my original estimated initial drinking window." 94, Allen Meadow's, Burghound, Jul 2016

Delamotte Brut Rose NV, 0.75L

“The latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut Rosé offers up expressive aromas of red apples, crisp stone fruit, cherries and fresh pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping palate. Comparatively rich and textural for this routinely elegant, fine-boned cuvée, it's more gastronomic than usual.” 90, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2022

de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf du Pape Les Trois Sources 2010, 0.75L

"A new cuvee for this estate and a blend of 60% Grenache and the rest a mix of Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault that comes from tiny yields of 22 hl/hectare, the 2010 Les Trois Sources delivers a decidedly mineral-drenched array of sweet plum, violets, black licorice, wild flowers, and hints of herbs on the nose. Perfumed, complex, and showing the estate’s hallmark freshness and purity, this full-bodied Châteauneuf-du-Pape is elegant and streamlined on the palate, with beautiful underlying concentration, ripe tannin, and a long finish. Billecart-Salmon Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut NV, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Champagne, Champagne
"Really attractive ripe and pure chardonnay sourced from the Côte de Blancs villages of Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger. This has bright ripe peaches and nectarines in addition to mangoes, lemons and – not to mention some background chalky aromas. The palate's a riot of fleshy and flavorsome chardonnay fruit with a helping of stone fruits and another of green mango flavors and deeper-set citrus zest. Seamless balance flows to the finish." 95 James Suckling.com
"Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs lends itself to a Champagne that is finely textured and impressively fruity and structured. The wine has a steely edge that suggests this bottling is young but that also has beautiful fruit and minerality." 94 Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast
"Medium yellow-green color, silver highlights, and a fine, persistent mousse. Delicate floral undertones with white stone fruit nuances and notes of subtle mango, floral honey, meadow herbs, biscuit, apricot, and almonds. Creamy texture, juicy and elegant, with a delicate acidity; yellow apple and baked bread on a mineral-salty finish with very good length; a multi-faceted accompaniment to food." 94 Falstaff Magazin
"Exhibiting aromas of citrus oil, tart stone fruit, freshly baked bread and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and layered, its sweet core of fruit framed by racy acids and chalky structure." 93 William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche 2011, 0.75L

"As is often the case, La Tâche seems a perfect nexus of ripeness, accessibility, and power. The surprisingly open aromas of ripe black cherries and mulberry are complemented by hints of violets, liquorice, and sweet Asian spices. The texture is also approachable, with impressive density given depth by firm tannic grip and bright acidity that draw the wine to a lingering finish. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg 2011, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"The 2011 Richebourg is restrained on the initial attack. The aromas open slowly on the palate with notes of plummy fruit, firm, almost saline minerality, and a hint of wild herbs. The texture is massive, with firm tannins, a dense feel on palate and a tightly-wound finish that will take years to unspool. There is nothing astringent, tart, or bitter, but the wine needs time to open and then should last for decades. Picked 7-8 September; 13,971 bottles produced. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche 2010, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"This is perhaps even more floral than the Richebourg and every bit as spicy on the ultra-pure, cool and remarkably elegant mix of red and blue pinot fruit, red currant and wild red berries that are openly mineral-inflected. As with all of the DRC '10s, the equally stony flavors and supporting tannins are extremely fine and while there is ample power and vibrancy, the palate feel is all silk and satin. To be sure, this is a big wine with impressive concentration but this is definitely not cut from the same cloth as say the 2005 or 2009 versions are. I can admire both styles but this one is seriously lovely. Readers should note however that while the 2010 LT is exceptionally fine it will still require some 20 to 25 years of cellar time before it reaches its full majority but when it does, it will be considered one of the all-time great vintages for this incredibly storied wine. If your pocketbook can stand the damage, this is an absolute 'do no miss under any circumstances' wine." 98, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 2013
“There's a unique dark, brooding side to this red. Black cherry, licorice, sandalwood, tobacco and woodsy spice notes mingle with dense tannins on the powerful frame, leading to a superb aftertaste of sweet fruit, spice and mineral.” 98, Wine Spectator
“The 2009 La Tache presents a rich tapestry of nearly indescribable elegance. The aromas and flavors seem to hover on the palate in this intensely sweet, perfumed La Tache. Bright floral notes, hard candy and mint ring out on the finish.” 96-98, Wine Advocate
“Good bright, full red. Ineffable high-pitched aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry, spices, flowers and white pepper. Wonderfully sappy and fine-grained, with outstanding inner-mouth mineral-driven perfume to the taut flavors of pungent red berries, flowers and spices. Most impressive today on the inexorably building finish, which features very suave tannins and great energy and lift. Built for a very long life in bottle and yet this great La Tache already reveals considerable charm.” 97, Vinous
“Very rich and haunting on the nose with truffles and violets. Then admirably firm on the palate. But so much stuffing! Liqueur red burgundy… Great energy. Great muscularity. Wonderful silkiness almost disguises those tannins. Enormous persistence without heaviness. Neat finish. Thoroughly energetic. Absolutely heavenly. Bravo!” 19.5, Jancis Robinson

Lynch-Bages 2008, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Pauillac, Bordeaux
"The 2008 Lynch Bages is brilliant stuff as well as a textbook Pauillac. Revealing a still youthful ruby/purple color as well as impressive notes of graphite, cedar pencil, cassis, tobacco, and obvious minerality, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, polished tannins, and a concentrated, layered texture. Jean-Charles Cazes described the vintage as late and great for Cabernet Sauvignon, and this beauty has classic Cabernet flair in spades. Powerful yet also fresh and elegant, it benefits from a decant and will continue drinking beautifully for another 20-30 years." 94 Jeb Dunnuck, Feb 2019
“The 2008 Lynch-Bages is deep in color with minor aging on the rim. The nose is well-defined but demands coaxing, almost reluctantly revealing blackberry, briary, tobacco and mint aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with firm but fine tannins, lovely black fruit laced with tobacco and spice, dense and grippy. This is beautifully proportioned on the finish. Superb. Tasted at the Lynch-Bages vertical at the château.” 94, Neal Martin, Jun 2021

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg 2006, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"The 2006 Richebourg Grand Cru has a wonderful blackberry, brine and slightly peppery nose, the stem addition maybe a little more tangible than I would have expected. It coalesces in the glass, scents of black tea emerging with time. The palate displays an effortless balance, the fine tannins framing layers of black fruit with veins of blue. The sappiness comes through on the second half that is poised and satisfyingly long. Superb. Tasted at Hide restaurant in London. (Drink between 2019-2045)." 95, Neal Martin, Vinous, May 2019

Graham`s 20 Year Old Tawny Porto NV, 0.75L
Port Blend from Porto, Douro
“My favourite sub-category of tawny as this combines the freshness of youth with complexity of age: lovely reddish-tawny hue with a toffee and dried citrus character on the nose and palate, now smooth and silky with creamy texture (the concentration of age), the sweet fruit (that is the hallmark of Graham’s) offset by a streak of fresh acidity on the finish. A seamless melange of glorious flavours.” 96, Richard Mayson, Decanter, Nov 2021

Hartford Court Pinot Noir Land`s Edge Vineyard 2005, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California
“Deep red. Spicy cherry and cassis aromas are a bit musclebound but slowly open to show subtle floral and iron qualities. Powerful, deeply concentrated cherry and cherry skin flavors dominate the palate. Finishes with solid tannins and a hint of espresso. This needs time.” 90+, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2007

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée St. Vivant Marey Monge 2005, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"The 2005 Romanée-St. Vivant is both incredibly aromatic and vibrant, but, then again, it is Romanée-St. Vivant. Here, the impression is of pure verticality and towering structure. A bit darker and more brooding than RSV often is, the 2005 is a wine built for cellaring. Perhaps because it is the first wine I tasted from the domaine, I have always had a weak spot for the RSV. The 2005 is magnificent, but it is also a wine for those who can be patient. (Drink between 2020-2055)." 97, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2015

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux 2005, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Flagey Echezeaux, Burgundy
"Next to the super-refined, delicate 2006s, the 2005s come across as deeper and richer in personality. That is quite evident in the 2005 Échézeaux, a wonderfully lifted, precise Burgundy that is just starting to blossom. Today, the 2005 is all about nuance and detail. This is a terrific showing. Once again, in 2005 the Échézeaux is a real overachiever. (Drink between 2018-2045)." 94, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2014

Henriot Blanc de Blancs Brut NV, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Champagne, Champagne
“Delicate and racy with sweet lime, white pear and green almond aromas up front, although there’s some lemon madeleine richness tucked into the fluffy, gentle mousse. Narrow, pure yet not austere in style, it’s a zesty and ultimately refreshing, reductively styled blanc de blancs. From 12 crus of Chardonnay, with 30% reserve wine addition.” 92, Tom Hewson, Decanter, Oct 2024

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg 2004, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"Aubert de Villaine chose a 2004 Richebourg for lunch at this tasting because of its 'good continuity' with the 2017 vintage. He also remarked that in 2004 there were still three ouvrées (0.125ha) of hundred-year-old vines. The wine is distinctly bricking at the rim and showing a bit of evolution, with aromas on the nose that include dried cherries, liquorice and black tea. The texture on the palate is very fine, and the wine lingers in a regal fashion on the finish. (Drink between 2022-2030)." 93, Charles Curtis MW, Decanter, Jun 2022

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux 2004, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Flagey Echezeaux, Burgundy
"The 2004 DRC Grands Echézeaux looks destined to be a legendary vintage for this bottling. There is an elegance, transparency and purity to the wine in 2004 that is utterly remarkable. The glorious bouquet offers up notes of raspberries, cherries, Vosne spice, intense rose petal, striking minerality and vanillin oak. On the palate this beautiful wine is fullish, racy and crystal clear, with beautiful soil tones, laser-like focus, tangy acids, and great length and grip on the ripely tannic finish. The 2004 Grands Echézeaux is not a blockbuster by any stretch of the imagination, but is a wonderfully discreet, transparent and intensely-flavored wine of remarkable finesse. (Drink between 2014-2050)." 94, John Gilman, View From The Cellar, Mar 2006

Le Carillon de l`Angelus 2018, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Franc from St. Emilion, Bordeaux
"Wild-strawberry, blackberry and blueberry aromas with some spices and herbs. It’s full-bodied with a balance of firm yet elegant tannins. The savory mid-palate leads to a clean finale with serious length. Hard not to drink this now, but it needs four or five years to show its true excellence. Second wine of Angelus. Try after 2025." 95 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, Apr 2019

Delamotte Brut NV, 0.75L
from Champagne, Champagne
"Attractively chalky and biscuity nose, with some honey, apricots and lemon cream. It's balanced and focused, with very fine bubbles, a medium body and well-rounded finish. 60% chardonnay, 35% pinot noir and 5% meunier. Base wine from 2018 with 20% reserve wines from 2017 and 2016. Drink now." 91, James Suckling, Aug 2023
“The latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut is especially charming, bursting with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, peach and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and enveloping, it's a fleshy, giving wine that's ample and pliant, with a pinpoint mousse and a nicely defined finish.” 90, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2022

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg 2003, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"Violets, roses, raspberries, and red cherries emanate from the 2003 Richebourg. Full-bodied, deep, and hugely concentrated, it is muscular, firm and displays the firmest structure of the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti’s 2003s. Soy sauce, tar, chocolate, and dark fruits are found in its focused, audacious personality. Its impressively persistent finish is studded with highly present tannin." 97, Pierre Rovani, Wine Advocate, Aug 2005

Graham`s 10 Year Old Tawny Porto NV, 0.75L
Port Blend from Porto, Douro
“A luscious, super-moreish tawny, with notes of sweet orange peel, mellow Madeira honey cake, almond/marzipan and salted caramel. Silky, honeyed mouthfeel, with praline to the finish. Satisfying and very complete, this 10-year-old is naughty but nice, polished and toothsome: a great execution of the house style.” 93, Sarah Ahmed, Decanter, Nov 2020
