Benjamin Leroux Gevrey-Chambertin 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy
"Exceptionally pretty, even perfumed, aromas of cool red berries are nuanced by hints of earth and the sauvage. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the detailed and delicious, if not especially dense, flavors that flash a subtle minerality on the lightly austere, balanced and lingering finish. While built to repay mid-term keeping, this should actually be approachable young if desired." 89-91, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Apr 2024

Benjamin Leroux Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru La Pièce-sous-le-Bois 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Meursault, Burgundy
"Once again there is a trace of exotic fruit lurking in the background of the markedly more floral-suffused scents of white peach, citrus confit and lychee. There is excellent volume and density to the medium-bodied flavors that are rich to the point of opulence while maintaining fine balance on the nicely dry and chalky finale. This could easily be enjoyed young or successfully cellared for up to a decade." 90-93, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jun 2024

Benjamin Leroux Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Boudots 2020, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Nuits St. Georges, Burgundy
"Very typical of Nuits-St-Georges, with a dark plummy fruit, notes of earth and mineral, and an almost savoury edge to it - slightly rustic, yet still very refined. The grapes from this 0.4ha parcel were fermented as 60% whole-cluster, which imparts a slight edge of herbs or menthol to the wine, but this amplifies in a good way the slightly sauvage character. Delicious." 94 Charles Curtis MW, Decanter Magazine
"Background hints of wood and menthol are present on the super-spicy aromas of black cherry, raspberry and a plenitude of floral wisps. The sleek, intense and very rich medium weight plus flavors possess a caressing mouthfeel that possess notably better punch on the youthfully austere, balanced and impressively persistent finale. This is sufficiently compact that it's going to need at least a few years of keeping first." 92-94 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Georges Noellat Vosne-Romanée 2020, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
"A lively full purple colour with scarlet rim. This sample has a slightly oxidative nose which is unlikely to be representative of the wine. Fine poised classy with fine-grained tannins plenty of them but they are fine enough with a medium to long finish." 90-92 Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
"The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village has a well-defined bouquet with dark cherries, raspberry coulis and rose petal scents, forward yet focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, good acidity, a little savory towards the finish with fine length." 89-91 Neal Martin, Vinous

Sylvain Cathiard Vosne Romanée 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy
"The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village has a sensual bouquet with pure redcurrant and crushed strawberry fruit, just a touch of violet popping up with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced with rounded tannins. It’s a succulent Vosne-Romanée with a good body and a sustained finish. Recommended." 90-92, Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2024
“A very Vosne-like nose is comprised by notes of plum, violet, exotic spice and a whiff of jasmine tea. The caressing and seductively textured medium weight flavors tighten up on the dusty, firm and balanced finish that is already quite complex. Even so, this is sufficiently structured to need at least 5 years of keeping before it will be reasonably approachable.” 89-92, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 2024
