Domaine Ponsot Clos de Vougeot Cuvée Vieilles Vignes 2019, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vougeot, Burgundy

"The 2019 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is showing brilliantly, unwinding in the glass with aromas of red berries, plums and cassis mingled with warm spices, incense and rich soil tones. Full-bodied, layered and elegantly muscular, with a deep core of fruit, ripe and powdery tannins and lively balancing acids, it will reward patience." 94+ points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022

Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Ovello 2017, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barbaresco, Piedmont

"All of the Riservas in this vintage are characterized by especially exuberant and bold aromas, and this bottle is a prime example. Cassis, wild cherry, tobacco, rusty nail and licorice build intensity. The wine is tapered and silky in texture, but it also offers a good amount of power".

La Rioja Alta Viña Ardanza Reserva 2016, 0.75L
from Rioja Alta, La Rioja

"The 2016 Viña Ardanza Reserva was produced with 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha that matured in used American oak barrels for three years, where it was hand-racked from barrel to barrel six times in the case of Tempranillo and five times for the Garnacha, as it had a slightly shorter élevage of 30 months. Against all odds, I found the 2016 to be fresher than the 2015 and less developed, despite the fact that winemaker Julio Sáenz told me he considers it a warmer year. But I have found many wines I like in 2016, and the wine feels very clean and quite harmonious, younger and less developed, with more primary notes and a velvety mouthfeel. 600,000 bottles produced. The wine was bottled in June 2020." 94+  Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jul 2022

Bodega Mustiguillo Pago El Terrerazo Finca Terrerazo 2019, 0.75L
Bobal from El Terrerazo, Valencia

"... Fermented in 3,500- and 5,000-liter oak vats with indigenous yeasts and a soft extraction, and it had an élevage in those containers of 18 months. There is a step up in precision here, quite noticeable when tasting it next to the 2018. It's subtle, elegant and insinuating. It was a very good vintage for this wine. In 2018, the vineyards suffered from hail, and the wine shows more clarity here, it's more transparent and pure, it has symmetry and very fine tannins. This has to be the finest Finca Terrerazo so far. 29,360 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021. They never stop at Mustiguillo." 94+, Luis Guiterrez, Wine Advocate

Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon Signature 2014, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9/% Petit Verdot and the rest Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, is a classic example of Pritchard Hill, Chappellet and of Napa Valley. Brilliant purity, a dense purple color, superb blackberry and floral-infused blueberry fruit and cassis, a full-bodied mouthfeel, moderate but sweet tannin and a long, layered, texture and finish make for a profound Cabernet Sauvignon that actually sells at a bargain price for what is in the bottle. Moreover, look for it to evolve graciously for another 20+ years. Chappellet is the pioneer that, in the last 1960s, first began planting vineyards on what is now one of the hottest viticultural regions of Napa Valley – Pritchard Hill. Even though Pritchard Hill isn’t entitled to an AVA, there is no question that the 15 or 16 wineries are up there are producing world-class wines, and it all started with the efforts of Molly and Don Chappellet in the late 1960s. The 1969 Cabernet Sauvignon they made with the help of Philip Togni remains one of the greatest Napa Cabernet Sauvignons I have ever tasted, and is still vigorous at age 47." 94+ Robert M. Parker, Jr., Wine Advocate

"Aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, mushrooms and spices. Full and very intense with lots of fruit. Firm and silky. Plenty of tension. Layered and intense." 94 JamesSuckling.com

Jax Cabernet Sauvignon Block 3 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Calistoga, California

"Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Block 3 has a deep garnet-purple color. After a few swirls, it comes barreling out of the glass with bold notes of wild blueberries, blackberry preserves and cassis, plus hints of chocolate mint and rose oil. Full-bodied, rich and plush, it coats the mouth with tons of juicy black fruit and delivers a long, fragrant finish." 94+ Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate
