Chambers Rosewood Vineyards Rare Tokay NV, 0.375L
Muscadelle from Rutherglen, Victoria
"The NV Rosewood Vineyards Rare Muscadelle (Tokay) has a deep brown color with a hint of green in the rim. The nose has a complex, oxidative, almost oloroso character giving notes of roasted walnuts, dark chocolate, burnt coffee and toffee. The palate is so crisp in acidity that the unbelievable level of sweetness and viscosity is infinitely drinkable. Layer upon layer of spice and nut flavors develop into the very long finish.
One of the great names in Rutherglen fortifieds, Chambers is a family operated winery that was established by William Chambers in 1858. Today it is operated by fifth generation winemaker William Chambers and his son Stephen. These fortified wines are all bottled to drink now. The extended solera aging process has rendered them relatively stable to changes and they are now bottled under screw cap so that they can be stored for a good number of years."

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chataneauf de Pape La Crau 2020, 0.375L
Grenache / Mourvèdre / Syrah / Cinsault from Chateauneuf du Pape, Rhône
"Tasted as a tank sample of the final blend, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape La Crau is a blend of approximately 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah and 5% other permitted varieties, with about 30% whole bunches used in the ferments. Marked by ripe cherries and hints of complex garrigue notes on the nose, it's full-bodied but also really elegant, with fine-grained, silky tannins, ample concentration and a long, surprisingly crisp finish. 93-95 Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2022

Riesling from Erden, Mosel
"Forget dessert and substitute it for this much more delicious and healthy option! The wonderfully fragrant mango, papaya and mangosteen nose pulls you deep into this concentrated but super elegant Auslese with a very long, powerful finish. Joh. Jos. Prum Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese 2020, 0.375L
Riesling from Graach, Mosel
"The 2020er Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese offers a beautifully pure and ripe nose of smoke, grapefruit, lime, vineyard peach, minty herbs, and bacon-driven aromatics from residual from its spontaneous fermentation. The wine coats the palate with gorgeously ripe and juicy notes of fruits and leaves a superbly pure, smooth, and almost soft and suave feel in the hugely long finish. The aftertaste is still loaded with sweetness in need of integration, which will need quite some time to integrate. There is upside potential as the wine gains finesse with age." 93+ Points, Mosel Fine Wines

Komasa Sakurajima Komikan Gin NV, 0.375L
Gin from Kagoshima, Kagoshima
"Komasa Gin is the craft gin label proudly presented by Komasa Jyozo, a shochu distillery in Kagoshima, Japan with over 130 years of distilling history. Gin and shochu both share the fact that they are distilled spirits. Drawing on decades of distilling expertise and know how accumulated through making shochu, we unveiled our new line of gins in 2018.
Gin is a distilled spirit that has been flavored with juniper berries and other botanicals, like spices and citrus peel. We use our rice shochu as the base for Komasa Gin, to which we add juniper berries and as few other ingredients as possible in order to let the main botanicals shine on their own. Our goal is to utilize and express the natural fragrances and flavors of our quality ingredients to the fullest. With Komasa Gin, we’ve hit upon a revolutionary style of gin that is eminently easy to drink and perfect for everyone." Importer Notes, High Road Spirits

Mayacamas Chardonnay 2020, 0.375L
Chardonnay from Mt. Veeder, California
"The 2020 Chardonnay marries textural richness and energy, all in grand style. Lemon confit, white flowers and light tropical accents lend quite a bit of character. There is striking creaminess and oiliness to the feel, even though the malolactic fermentation was fully blocked. The 2020 is just gorgeous in the way it conveys mountain energy while avoiding any sense of austerity." 95 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Ridge Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 2019, 0.375L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Petit Verdot from Santa Cruz Mountains, California
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate comes from the estate Monte Bello Vineyard on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains and is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. Hitting 13.8% alcohol, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a brilliant perfume of blue fruits, scorched earth, tobacco leaf, and lead pencil. Beautifully balanced and medium to full-bodied, with building tannins, it's a seamless Cabernet Sauvignon that has some up-front appeal given its balance and elegance yet will benefit from 2-5 years of bottle age and, I suspect, have 20+ years of overall longevity. While many of these wines fall outside the “Central Coast,” I was able to taste a full lineup from Ridge and am happy to include these wines here. Going forward, the Sonoma releases will be covered by my colleague, Audrey Frick." 94+ Jeb Dunnuck
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate offers a hugely appealing mix of fruit richness married to the savory, structured style that is the Ridge signature. The 2019 is beautifully exotic, but natural without the volume of the Monte Bello. I imagine it will drink splendidly with minimal cellaring. Succulent red cherry, blood orange, mint, cinnamon and pomegranate. Ridge manages to pull off the impossible, which is to excel in both larger-volume, commercial bottlings while also offering a number of small production, niche wines that will appeal to the nerdiest of wine lovers .... There are a ton of compelling wines in this range beyond the obvious Geyserville, Lytton Springs and Monte Bello. The 2019 Zinfandel Pagani Ranch, Syrah Grenache Mataro Lytton Estate and Carignane Buchignani Ranch are all wines I would love to own." 92 Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"Distinctive, with a burst of singed vanilla and savory leading off, followed by dark plum and blackberry puree notes that stream through. Shows singed mesquite and a sanguine note as this unfolds. Sleek, tight-grained finish." 92 Wine Spectator
