d'Yquem 2016, 0.375L
Sémillon / Sauvignon Blanc from Sauternes, Bordeaux

"A very classic Yquem. Breathtakingly wide spectrum of floral honey, exotic fruit (passion fruit, mango and pineapple), caramel and marzipan aromas. But none of this is a jot too much. In fact, the wine is extremely precise and finely nuanced. Wonderful freshness and textural complexity, in spite of the considerable concentration and extravagance. Very suave and sensual finish that goes on and on. Drink or hold." 99 James Suckling

"The 2016 Chateau D’Yquem is pure magic and dessert wines don’t get much better. Offering a pale gold color as well as a blockbuster bouquet of honeyed tangerines, tart apricots, liquid rocks, white flowers, and honeysuckle, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, an opulent texture, vibrant acidity, and again, an incredible sense of minerality, despite having no shortage of sweetness or richness. The 2016 is a classic blend of 75% Sémillon and 25% Sauvignon that hit 14.2% alcohol with 135 grams of residual sugar. It’s already complex and approachable yet will keep for 3-4 decades." 99 Jeb Dunnuck

"Containing 135 grams per liter of residual sugar, the pale lemon-gold colored 2016 d'Yquem leaps from the glass with honeyed apricots, pineapple, green mango, crushed rocks, candied ginger, coriander seed and citrus peel with hints of orange blossom. The palate is very tightly wound, vibrant and refreshing with layer upon layer of minerals and spices, finishing with epic poise and persistence." 98+ Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate

Veuve Clicquot Brut (Yellow Label) NV, 0.375L
Champagne Blend from Champagne, Champagne

“The nose offers yeasty bready aromas topped with fresh citrus, hints of stone fruit and strawberry tart. A palate of fresh croissants, red berries, green apple and lively lemon citrus, with the larger format lending lovely creaminess to the bright finish. Veuve Clicquot's iconic Yellow Label is a blend of 30% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier and 50% Pinot Noir, which provides the cuvée's signature structure. Up to 45% reserve wines in the blend ensure consistency.” 91, Julie Sheppard, Decanter, Jul 2024

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chataneauf de Pape La Crau 2020, 0.375L
Grenache / Mourvèdre / Syrah / Cinsault from Chateauneuf du Pape, Rhône

“This amazing Chateauneuf-du-Pape squares the circle of southern richness and spring-like freshness in spite of coming from a very warm and dry vintage. The stony minerality, saltiness and dried flower character wind together to form a dynamic whole, driving this gracefully across the palate. But I must also mention the savory and licorice richness that is so deftly wrapped around them. Very long, salty and velvety finish. Drink or hold.” 97, Stuart Pigott, James Suckling, Nov 2023

“This shows a lot of aromatic appeal, with dusty earth and singed incense notes covering a well of fresh cherry and red currant flavors. A gutsy, grippy style on the palate, with a cast iron spine bringing firm shape and underlying power. Slightly old-school, this still needs time to unfurl. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. Best from 2025 through 2035. 7,500 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.” 94, Kristen Bieler, Wine Spectator, Mar 2024

Komasa Sakurajima Komikan Gin NV, 0.375L
Gin from Kagoshima, Kagoshima

"Komasa Gin is the craft gin label proudly presented by Komasa Jyozo, a shochu distillery in Kagoshima, Japan with over 130 years of distilling history. Gin and shochu both share the fact that they are distilled spirits. Drawing on decades of distilling expertise and know how accumulated through making shochu, we unveiled our new line of gins in 2018.

Gin is a distilled spirit that has been flavored with juniper berries and other botanicals, like spices and citrus peel. We use our rice shochu as the base for Komasa Gin, to which we add juniper berries and as few other ingredients as possible in order to let the main botanicals shine on their own. Our goal is to utilize and express the natural fragrances and flavors of our quality ingredients to the fullest. With Komasa Gin, we’ve hit upon a revolutionary style of gin that is eminently easy to drink and perfect for everyone." Importer Notes, High Road Spirits

Muga Reserva 2018, 0.375L
Tempranillo Blends from Rioja Alta, La Rioja

"This was the only red that Muga made in 2018, and the wines from the best vineyards went into the blend. In other words, top vineyards were declassified. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins that are caressing and refined. Plenty of subtle berries, chocolate and walnuts. Tempranillo with garnacha, mazuelo and graciano. January 2021 release. Drink or hold" 94 Points, James Suckling, JamesSukling.com

Dolce Late Harvest 2017, 0.375L
Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley, California

“More sweet and candied than the last release, this now-classic wine made from grapes shriveled by noble rot is lavish in honey, candied orange, toasted peanuts, peach syrup and butterscotch flavors. The color is golden amber, mouthfeel is unctuous, texture beyond creamy and yet backed by a touch of apricot brightness.” 95, Wine Enthusiast, Apr 2024
