Nikolaihof Steiner Hund Riesling 2015, 0.75L
Riesling from Wachau, Niederösterreich

"A dry, solid riesling with dried lemon, apple, and light honeysuckle. Some complexity. Full-bodied, layered and flavorful. Very subtle and nuanced with so much intensity and focus, yet creamy and pretty. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now." - James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

Domaine de Chevalier 2015, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Petit Verdot from Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux

"One of the stars of the vintage, the 2015 Domaine de Chevalier has turned out even better than I expected. Bright floral notes give striking aromatic lift to the rich, sumptuous fruit. A marvelously complete wine, the 2015 is racy and silky on the palate, yet also has tremendous freshness. Bright red cherry, blood orange, white pepper, spice and dried flowers build into the super-expressive finish. The 2015 has been nothing less than stunning the three times I have tasted it so far. This is a tremendous showing from proprietor Olivier Bernard and his team. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Tasted three times." 97 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Pierre Gimonnet Blanc de Blancs Chouilly Grand Cru Spécial Club 2015, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Cote de Blancs, Champagne

"The 2015 Extra- Brut Special Club Chouilly Grand Cru is a very pretty, exotic wine. Tangerine oil, jasmine, lemon peel, mint and white pepper add tons of aromatic flair to this airy, gracious Champagne. There is a sense of transparency to the Chouilly that is quite appealing. Readers should expect a taut, linear style. Dosage is 4 grams per liter." Disgorged Oct 2021. 92 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com, Nov 2022

Robert Moncuit Les Chetillons Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Extra Brut 2015, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne

Robert Moncuit is a French family winery with over a century of history. It is located in Le Mesnil-sur-Auger, where Alex Monqui planted vines in 1889. The first cuvées of them were obtained by Robert, Alex's grandson, only in 1935. Since then, the estate has been producing exceptional sparkling wines that are famous all over the world. The volume of wines produced is limited and amounts to 60,000 liters per year. After the death of Robert Monqui in 1987, his children, Françoise and Pierre Amille, took over the management of the company. They create elite champagnes from grapes from an area of 8 hectares of the Grand Cru category, fully occupied by Chardonnay grapes. The vines are processed without the use of pesticides, the harvest is carried out manually, and each batch is vinified separately, after which the wines are collected in exclusive blends.

Château Pradeaux Bandol Rouge 2015, 0.75L
Mourvèdre from Bandol, Provence

"The magic of Château Pradeaux lies in its unfettered expression of Mourvèdre, that thick-skinned, late-ripening variety which sings in its full glorious range in Bandol’s Mediterranean-hugging vineyards. Pradeaux’s 18 hectares are the nearest to the sea in the entire appellation, and they tend to harvest a full two weeks later than their neighbors. Appellation law requires at least 50% Mourvèdre in a Bandol, and while many domaines hew closer to the minimum, cushioning their wine with hearty proportions of Grenache and Cinsault, Pradeaux produces a full-strength wine of 95% Mourvèdre." Alessandro e Gian Natale Fantino Barolo Riserva Bussia Cascina Dardi 2015, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont

Just bottled, the 2015 Barolo Riserva Cascina Dardi is a real powerhouse. This full-bodied, potent Barolo packs a huge punch. It won't be ready to drink anytime soon, that much is obvious. Time in the glass brings out aromatic intensity and inner perfume. Spice and blood orange accents lend an exotic quality to this dark, layered Barolo. The Riserva is a wine for readers who appreciate the natural fragility of artisan wines, wines that aren't perfect but that perfectly embody the human spirit.” 96 Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2021

Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo Ghemme Collis Breclemae 2015, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Ghemme, Piedmont

"The 2015 Ghemme Collis Breclemae is going to be gorgeous, but it needs time, as it is going through and adolescent phase at present. Brooding and somber, with quite a bit of complexity, the 2015 certainly has a ton to offer. Wild cherry, tobacco, spice, leather and cedar all build as this powerful, strapping Ghemme slowly opens. All the 2015 needs is cellaring to be at its most expressive. (Drink between 2025-2040)" 93 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Cascina Baricchi Barbaresco Riserva Rose Delle Casasse 2015, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barbaresco, Piedmont

"The 2015 Barbaresco Riserva Rose delle Casasse is one of the most distinctive wines in all of Piedmont. It emerges from a tiny parcel in Neive first planted in 1913 with the Rose clone of Nebbiolo known for its aromatic intensity, that is rarely seen these days. Deeply bright and perfumed, the 2015 offers up an exotic mélange of sweet red cherry, blood orange, mint, spice, rose petal and kirsch. There's terrific depth and plenty of substance to wrap it all together. The 2015 spent four years in wood, a combination of small barrels and medium-sized casks. I wonder what this wine would like taste like if it was aged in more neutral oak, as there is a bit of oak tannin here. Even so, the 2015 is an exquisite wine and a Barbaresco of real character. (Drink between 2022-2040)" 96 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Fongoli Montefalco Sagrantino Fracanton 2015, 0.75L
Sagrantino from Montefalco, Umbria

"The 2015 Montefalco Sagrantino Fracanton takes the vibrant character and depth of Fongoli Montefalco Sagrantino and dials everything up a notch. Like a florist shop on the nose, this is literally bursting with rose and violet perfumes complicated by crushed rocks and tart cherries. Rich with soft contours yet full of life, it’s the tantalizing acidity that really shines here, as it enlivens the ripe red fruits and sweet herbal tones within. Hints of licorice stain the senses throughout the finale, as the 2015 finishes potent yet incredibly fresh. The tannin management here is unbelievable. The fruit for the Fracanton goes through spontaneous fermentation in open-topped clay amphorae without sulfur or temperature control, after which it's matured in large oak botti for another five years." 95+ Points, Eric Guido, Vinous

Giuseppe Quintarelli Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2015, 0.75L
Corvina / Molinara / Rondinella from Valpolicella Classico, Veneto

"The 2015 Valpolicella Classico Superiore lifts up with unprecedented freshness as a beautiful mix of fresh cherries, cloves, and cedar is complemented by rosy florals. This is a model of purity, slightly salty in character, with crisp red fruits and sweet spice nuances. It tapers off lightly structured perfumed, leaving the palate perfectly reset as a tinge of minerality lingers. The warn vintage 2015 is complex yet finessed. Simply stunning." 93 Eric Guido, Vinous.com, Dec 2022

Luis A. Rodriguez Vazquez Vina de Martin Escolma Blanco 2015, 0.75L
Treixadura / Albariño / Lado / Torrontés from Ribeiro, Galicia

"The current vintage of the top of the range in white is the 2015 Viña de Martín Escolma Blanco. Luis Anxo talks about a very good vintage, and he's always quite prudent and humble, which means the vintage was no less than excellent, with perfect weather that allowed picking each plot of white at the right time and the red ripened properly. Here, he wants to express "our way of understanding wine: ancestral varieties and lands, manual and respectful viticulture, forcing low yields, minimal intervention and a relatively long time in the cellar. We want a complex wine, but direct and intimate." This is a blend of Treixadura Albariño, Lado and Torrontés from his oldest vineyards on poor soils that deliver one kilo per plant. Each plot ferments separately with indigenous yeasts in new or semi-new 300-, 500- or 600-liter oak barrels, where the wine is kept with lees for one year, then blended and bottled. It's kept three years in bottle and sold the November four years after the harvest. This is a quiet and serious wine, like its creator, subtle, elegant and nuanced. It has notes of herbs and spices, pollen and beeswax. This is a super balanced vintage, with ripeness, concentration, freshness and elegance in a rare combination. This feels very young and seems to be evolving at a very slow pace and should make old bones. I've had wines from Luis Anxo close to 30 years old, and they are still going strong, so my drinking window is very conservative. 4,800 bottles and 200 magnums were filled in December 2016." 95 Points, Luis Guiterrez, Wine Advocate

Bodegas Hermanos Pecina Rioja Senorio de Pecina Crianza 2015, 0.75L
Tempranillo from Rioja Alta, La Rioja

"They are convinced at the winery that the 2015 Señorío de P. Peciña Crianza is the best Crianza they have ever produced, which is often the case with the current vintage for sale... But I must admit that the wine was very impressively balanced, nuanced and complex. It has freshness and is approachable enough while showing Rioja character and integrated oak to appeal to a wide audience. It's ripe without excess, coming through as juicy and tasty. It spent two years in used American oak barrels." 92 Points, Luis Guiterrez, Wine Advocate

Bodegas Hermanos Peciña Rioja Señorío de P. Peciña Crianza 2015, 0.75L
Tempranillo from Rioja Alta, La Rioja

"Bright ruby. Lively, smoke- and spice-accented cherry and black raspberry aromas are complemented by floral, vanilla and pipe tobacco flourishes. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering vibrant red and blue fruit flavors that deepen and turn spicier with air. Shows very good energy and appealing florality on a very long, penetrating finish shaped by well-judged tannins." 92 Points Josh Raynolds, Vinous

La Rioja Alta Viña Ardanza Reserva 2015, 0.75L
from Rioja Alta, La Rioja

"A rich nose of raspberry, crushed strawberry, blueberry, coconut, cedar and sweet spice. It’s medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Creamy, balanced and layered with vibrant, spicy character. Long and polished." 96, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

"I tasted two vintages of their sleek and polished blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha, the oldest of which is the 2015 Viña Ardanza Reserva. It's a blend of 78% Tempranillo and 22% Garnacha (because they found that they needed a little more volume in the wine) from a powerful, warm and ripe year, very interesting to compare with the 2016. They consider 2015 a very good vintage; they compare it with 2001, a year when they produced all the wines. There are three wines from 2015, and there is something in common in all thee wines. The grapes were picked in mid-October and put through optical sorting to ferment followed by malolactic until the end of the year. The wine matured in used American oak barrels—the Tempranillo for 36 months with six manual rackings and the Garnacha for 30 months with five rackings. I find it to be more tertiary, with hints of leather and cured meat and a little wild, very spicy. It has a powerful palate with plenty of tannin, and it even feels that it needs some more polishing of perhaps powerful food..." 94, Luis Guiterrez, Wine Advocate

Abadia de Retuerta Pago Negralada 2015, 0.75L
Tempranillo from Sardon del Duero, Sardon del Duero

"Opaque ruby. Powerful, mineral-tinged red and dark berry preserve, potpourri and candied licorice scents, plus vanilla and baking spice nuances in the background. Sweet, seamless and expansive on the palate, offering densely packed black raspberry, blueberry, mocha and floral pastille flavors given lift and spine by a core of smoky minerality. Finishes extremely long and smooth, with slow-building tannins and lingering floral pastille and blue fruit preserve notes. Raised for 19 months in new French oak barrels. (Drink between 2022-2031)" 94, Josh Raynolds, Vinous.com

Charles Smith Syrah Stoneridge Vineyard Royal City 2015, 0.75L
Syrah from Columbia Valley, Washington

"Another magical Syrah is the 2015 Syrah Royal City. It shows a more finesse-driven (I wrote Burgundian in my notes), ethereal style as well as a beautiful perfume of kirsch and black cherry liqueur intermixed with notes of crushed flowers, ground herbs, pepper, and dried earth. Full-bodied, seamless, and ultra-fine on the palate, it has no hard edges and flawless balance, all making for an incredibly thrilling Syrah that’s already a joy to drink. Nevertheless, this cuvée will evolve gracefully and keep for 10-15 years." 98 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com
