Today, winemaker Jim Maresh carries the legacy forward with a style that’s pure, lifted, and deeply connected to place. Made from old-vine Pommard and Wädenswil clones, the wine is 100% destemmed, aged 22 months in mostly neutral French oak, and built on finesse rather than weight. The stunning 2023 Oregon vintage amplifies everything: vivid red fruit, floral detail, tension, and that signature Dundee Hills spice-and-silk combination. At under $40, this is one of the most compelling old-vine Oregon Pinot Noirs of the year — a wine that fills the palate, finishes with precision, and shows the kind of pedigree that ages effortlessly for a decade or more.
