"The 2010 comes from another tiny-yielding year because of poor flowering and cool conditions. Palazzo’s 2010 Cabernet France doesn’t have the concentration of the 2009, and is more red fruit-dominated, with raspberries, and cherries intermixed with loamy soil notes, some pine forest resiny characteristics, and a surprising amount of acidity. This was the only vintage in the entire vertical that seemed to have a tart edge to its overall character. This wine should drink well for another 7-8 years, but I don’t think it is going to get much better."
