"Medium red with some amber at the rim. Deep, smoky aromas of red fruits, marzipan, truffle, earth and leather. Vinous, minerally and penetrating, with a suggestion of liqueur-like ripeness. Firm, bright and classy, with excellent grip. Finishes fairly tannic but long and sweet. A somewhat exotically styled Ausone that nonetheless displays considerable class."
