Lot #288. Domaine Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée Aux Brulees 2001

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 93 AM.
"The wonderfully spicy, elegant and airy nose has turned largely secondary with its floral, spicy and smoky red berry fruit nose. The middle weight flavors are a study in refinement and precision and it would be fair to observe that this is notably finer than its 2002 counterpart; indeed the mouth feel of the impeccably well-balanced finale could accurately be described as lilting. For my taste this attractively mineral-inflected effort has just arrived at the front edge of its prime drinking window though it should hold there for a number of years to come." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Jun 2015
Provenance: The Montagneux Cellar
Notes: Damp stained, mold stained vintage neck tag, nicked, damp stained, mold stained, lightly scuffed label.
