94 NM. "The 2015 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru sports a subtle reaction that allows the terroir to filter through. The nose is well defined, with scents of beeswax and lanolin; grilled hazelnuts emerge with aeration. The taut, precise palate is very well balanced, possessing a fine line of acidity and conveying a sense of energy and depth toward the finish. There is a lovely tang of ginger and lemongrass on the aftertaste. This has great potential. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (DIAM 10 closure)" Neal Martin, Vinous.com, Nov 2018 |
