" I was blown away by the 2016 ChĂąteau Gracia from barrel and it doesnât disappoint from bottle. Coming from Michel Graciaâs tiny 1.83-hectare vineyard and a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in new barrels, it sports a vivid purple color as well as a blockbuster bouquet of blackberries, cassis, liquid violets, graphite, crushed rocks, and background high-class oak. With full-bodied power, a deep, layered, concentrated mid-palate, sweet tannins, and awesome purity of fruit, itâs another magical vintage for this estate. Hide bottles for 3-5 years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 2-3 decades."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
The world's largest fine-wine region, built around blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Divided by the Gironde estuary into the structured Left Bank and the plush, Merlot-led Right Bank, it is the historic benchmark for age-worthy claret and sweet Sauternes.
2016 in Bordeaux is a benchmark vintage: a wet spring gave way to a dry, sunny summer, producing fresh, deeply aromatic wines with ripe tannins, remarkable balance and excellent long-term aging potential.
An aromatic red grape lending perfume, red fruit and a leafy, savory edge. It thrives in the Loire and as a key blending partner in Bordeaux, especially Saint-Emilion.
Produces plush, supple, fruit-forward reds with plum and chocolate notes. Softer and earlier-maturing than Cabernet, it adds flesh and roundness to blends and stars in Right Bank Bordeaux.
