"Deep red. Primary aromas of fresh blackberry, cassis, tobacco and raw meat. Youthfully tangy at first, then took on a sweet, almost liqueur-like cassis and dark berry character with air, along with some sexy notes of vanilla, clove and violet pastille. This has excellent depth but also clarity and focus, finishing with lingering notes of fresh raspberry and blackberry. Very attractive pinot, but in need of some time in bottle."
