This winery's “starter” Pinot is velvety smooth on the nose and in the mouth. A bouquet full of smoked meat, chocolate, caramel and black fruit is quite welcoming. Plum, kirsch and black currant flavors are powerful yet properly restrained. Soft tannins ensure a plush finish.
