"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Fountaingrove District) is a new wine in this range. Bold and racy, it shows the natural richness of the year, but it is done in the same restrained style that readers have come to expect from Donelan. I would give the 2019 a few years to develop its aromatics, as the flavors are very much primary today. Sweet red plum, blood orange, mint, rose petal and a touch of new oak build into the silky, layered finish."
