"A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2012 Proprietary Red Blend spent nearly two years in French oak prior to bottling. Notes of sweet licorice, red and blackcurrants, coffee bean, white chocolate, spice box and subtle oak are all present in this pure, nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, voluptuous 2012. It can be drunk now or cellared . . . . Michel Rolland is the wine consultant at this tiny, boutique, seven-acre vineyard owned by Paula Brooks and Bob Cook. Rolland also works with the well-known Napa winemaking guru, Andy Erickson."
