"The 2005 Cabernet Franc has a spicy, cedary nose with some forest and resin-like characteristics, hints of chocolate and earth. The wine comes across as very French in style, with good acidity, a nice, linear mouthfeel, a certain sleekness, but without sacrificing concentration, density, and California’s terrific fruit purity. It seems fully mature and should probably be drunk over the next 5-6 years."
