"The new oak that was so apparent from cask has been almost completely absorbed. This is quite darkly colored with a very spicy nose and dense, very sappy, powerful flavors with a considerable tannic structure that is virtually completely buried. This has the size and density of syrah yet the elegance and sweetness of pinot. Incredible quality here for villages Gevrey."
