"Tasted in the Krug Room at The Dorchester, the ’93 Quintarelli has a ravishing, decadent nose of Valrhona chocolate, kirsch, mulberry and a nuttiness that reminds me of say, a 40-year old tawny port. The palate is medium-bodied, viscous, that nuttiness spliced into the complex flavour profile with kirsch, sloe, allspice and cloves. Delicious and decadent."

A prolific northern region known for Amarone della Valpolicella, made from dried grapes, as well as Soave and Prosecco. Its finest reds are rich, warming and concentrated.
