"More approachable and evolved, the 2012 Pinot Noir Duende Gold Coast Vineyard is a terrific effort that has sweet black cherries, currants and strawberry-styled fruits to go with ample spice-box, forest floor and dried flower-like aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and a little bit slutty, it stays beautifully focused, has a rock-star texture and a clean, classy finish. It’s hard to resist . . ."
