"A beautiful wine, the 2008 Estate Cuvee, a blend of 50% Syrah, 36% Cabernet, and 14% Petit Verdot, boast classy, intense aromatics of crème de cassis, toasted bread, touches of vanilla, and some wood, with vibrant underlying floral and violet notes. Medium to full bodied on the palate with a smooth, elegant texture, sweet fruit, and a long finish, this shows class and purity. Drinking well now, it should easily evolve over the next 10 to 12 years."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
