"This is absolute elegance. Its red color is clear yet bright and luminous and the aromas are dreamlike, ethereal, varied and complex. The bouquet is in perpetual motion and never ceases to amaze with new sensations that range from wild strawberry gelatin to ripe raspberry, from sweet spice (cinnamon, harlequin pepper and cloves) to wild mint and Lebanese cedar. The mouthfeel is mineral, consistent and with an unending persistence even when the glass is empty. An authentic cult wine in which lives the ‘true’ spirit of Uncle Henry Jayer, from whom he inherited his style and production philosophy."

2009 in Burgundy was warm and sunny, producing ripe, rich and generous reds of hedonistic charm and supple tannins; the whites are opulent but can lack acidity, making them best enjoyed relatively young.
A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
