"Jean-Nicolasâs 2020 Cros Parantoux is another stunning wine. The bouquet is pure, complex and still fairly primary, offering up a celestial combination of red and black plums, a touch of raspberry, black cherries, duck, Vosne spices, a complex base of stony soil tones and nutty new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very deep, with lovely sappiness buried in the core, exquisite mineral drive and grip, ripe, suave tannins and a very, very long, complex and perfectly balanced finish. A simply gorgeous wine."
