"Blended of 69% Grenache, 9% Syrah and 22% MourvÚdre, the 2014 Cuvée Alis Estate Vineyard has a medium garnet color and a beautifully spicy nose of Chinese five spice and Sichuan pepper with a good core of cherry preserves, blueberries and dried plums, plus a waft of Provence herbs. Full-bodied, the palate is led by spice box and savory notes with velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with great persistence."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
A late-ripening red lending structure, dark fruit and gamey, meaty complexity to southern Rhone and Mediterranean blends.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
