"I was speechless when I tasted this Champagne. Although I had the 1985 Krug before, in a magnum format, it was magnificent. A perfect wine that has evolved so beautifully that it has more layers and depth than many Grand Cru red Burgundies. Full bodied yet delicate with toasted hazelnuts, brioche and biscuit notes. Very long finish. A perfect vintage to enjoy now, at nearly 30 years of age."
