"A vivid pear cider aroma sets the stage for a pure pearsy palate that is even more deft, elegant and weightless than that of the other Auslesen here today. Velvety in texture yet almost Kabinett-like in structure. The finish here is as delicate, poised and as long as they come. For all of its enormous ripeness, this projects an uncanny sense of lightness, boasts a very juicy fresh-fruit aspect, and tastes no sweeter than one of this year "normal" Auslesen. It took the influence of frost to arrive at this amazing point."
