"Dark orange-red. Enticing aromas and flavors of ripe red cherry, almond paste, coriander, smoke and tar. Very smooth but offers lively acidity that nicely frames the ripe, multilayered, complex fruit flavors. Finishes long and with a delicate mineral tang. I suggest you decant this beauty at least one hour ahead. The normale 2011 Primum is an outstanding wine, but this Riserva is a downright memorable Taurasi. Very well done."
