"The 2012 Pinot Noir Rice-Spivak Vineyard is deep, pliant and intense, with good mid-palate depth and intensity. Dark red and purplish berry notes, spice, new leather, sage and tobacco meld together in a supple, inviting Pinot endowed with a real sense of weight and gravitas. This parcel is planted with the distinctive Swan clone of Pinot Noir. Cobb used 50% whole clusters here. There is plenty of potential here."
