"This cuvée, sourced primarily from lesser sites around Burg Layen that favor chalk-clay and sandstone, leads with a lovely nose of white peach, lime and sea breeze. The palate impression is delightfully chipper and animating, buoyant (at 12% alcohol), and subtly silken. This finishes with infectious primary juiciness, nuts and crystalline mineral impingements serving for invigorating counterpoint. I have seldom, if ever tasted a finer Diel generic."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
