"The 2007 Bousselottes has turned out beautifully in this vintage, as it possesses a sappiness at the core that the very pretty Chaignots does not quite deliver. The nose is deep and very lovely, as it jumps from the glass in a blaze of red cherries, pomegranate, a touch of milk chocolate, lovely nutty tones redolent of almonds, complex soil tones, a touch of vanillin oak and roses in the upper register. On the palate the wine is medium-full, pure and possesses a wonderful core of sweet fruit, with modest tannins, bright acids, and excellent focus and balance on the long, complex and succulent finish. Truly a great success this year."
